Mandy Stokes is a registered social worker, addiction counsellor and educator with extensive experience in addiction treatment, recovery and mental health support, in South Africa. She works in private practice and serves as a clinical supervisor to multidisciplinary teams within addiction treatment centres. Mandy is also an educator with SACAP and has facilitated numerous CPD workshops and trainings on addiction, trauma, ethics, and recovery-oriented care. Her work integrates evidence-based practice, a biopsychosocial understanding of addiction, and a strong focus on reducing stigma and empowering individuals, families, and communities through accessible psychoeducation.
